On July 4th & 5th, EU SWITCH-Asia projects SMART Myanmar and Tha Bar Wa (WWF), together with the SWITCH-Asia SCP Facility and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), organized a public-private meeting in Naypyitaw, hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. The topic of the discussions was on facilitating improvements in environmental management plans (EMPs) and environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for manufacturing facilities in the garment, textile and food & beverage industries.
