On November 16th, SMART Myanmar hosted a “Conducting Internal Waste Audit in Factory” workshop, collaboration with Thant Myanmar, conducted on waste management in garment factories, from 1pm to 5pm at Sky Hotel, Hlaing Tharyar Township. 

During the workshop, Thant Myanmar explained about waste produced from factories and issues can be caused by those waste and discussed about current condition of manufacturing and production waste and wastage, the participants from factories worked with group discussion as well as solutions and best practice example of reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose of waste with group presentation and other relevant contents and total 25 participants from factories joined this workshop.
