On June 29th Sunday, SMART Myanmar hosted a workshop for boiler operators from factories to be efficient and safe boiler operations at Sky Hotel, Hlaing Tharyar township. This 4 hour workshop is conducted by SMART Myanmar's technical experts from energy team with Myanmar language. The workshop is mainly focused on fuel handling and storage, understanding different fuel types, how to monitor and manage boiler feed water and blowdown as well as air intake, understanding and evaluting insulation, steam piping and recuperators, economizers and more and furthermore, focused on best practices in daily, weekly and monthly standard operations procedures. The participants from factories learned about fuel handling and storage, monitoring and managing boiler operations  as well as best practices for standard operation procedures. The workshop runs from 2pm to 6pm and 38 participants from 22 factories, mostly boiler operators and some managers attended this workshop.
