SMART has 11 bi-lingual Myanmar staff dedicated full-time for training, assessment and consultancy. A majority of them are electrical and mechanical engineers who completed degrees at some of the best universities in the country and have consulted with dozens of garment factories in Myanmar during the previous 5 years. SMART’s senior technical expert for HR management and social compliance, Ms. Nancy Feng, is Chinese and has over a decade of experience assessing, consulting and training garment factories in China and Myanmar.

Among the SMART consultancy team are 3 ISO 14001 accredited lead auditors, 6 SA8000 accredited basic auditors and 7 ILO certified SCORE trainers.
